St Brigid’s is a state boarding school; one of only 32 in the UK.
State boarding schools are ‘a well kept secret’ as pupils who attend pay only for their living expenses and accommodation –the local authority funds the education element.
We are a small boarding facility and we have a great family atmosphere with many opportunities for boarders to enjoy weekend and evening activities (including homework support). The gallery of pictures below will give you a flavour of some of the fun our boarders have had recently.
As a Catholic school, we care about our boarders’ academic achievements and we are committed to caring for them as you would yourselves. Please call us if you would like a tour of the school and boarding house –you will be made most welcome.
