St.
Brigid's is ideally located at Denbigh in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd in picturesque
North Wales. The coast, with its stretches of delightful beaches lies
10 miles away, whilst 10 miles inland rises the majestic Snowdonian Mountain
range with its National Park and rivers which provides a perfect location
for the School's extensive Outdoor Pursuit programme.
St Brigid's serves a large catchment area stretching from Llandudno in the
West to the Welsh Borders in the East, and beyond Ruthin in the South. Boarders
come from a wide area of the United Kingdom, from within the European Community,
and from former British Territories overseas.
The school is beautifully situated on the A543 on the outskirts of Denbigh,
a Mediaeval Walled Town, set in the grounds of an early-Victorian House, surrounded
by parkland. The Boarding accommodation is contained within the main building,
which also houses the Chapel, Library and Dining Room. The
town of Denbigh is of significant historical interest with its castle and
town walls dating back to 1282.

Denbigh
is very much a bi-lingual town with the Welsh language still being used in
the day-to-day life of many of its inhabitants.
Cultural opportunities abound with major regional theatres at Mold and Llandudno,
and other internationally recognised theatres at London; Manchester; Liverpool;
and Chester. Bodelwyddan Castle that houses part of the National Portrait
Gallery's Victorian Collection is within 10 minutes drive of the school and
regular visits to the Tate and National Portrait Galleries in London are made.
Llangollen, with its International Music Eisteddfod is in close proximity.
