RHS Show at Tatton Park
This year thanks to two very willing parents the
children will be having
a stand at the show. They are taking part in the Back to Back Gardens which are
a highlight at the RHS Flower Show. Designs are invited to create beautiful exhibits in a very limited
space depicting inspirational concepts for small gardens
Please
turn over for all the details of this exciting event; we are one of only two
schools entering this event, which has never had a school enter before.
Anyone
interested should contact Steve Emery, who will be looking for volunteers to
both help man the stand and also help construct the garden.
Our
grateful thanks go to Steve and Mark for working so hard on bringing this
exciting event to the children of St Brigid’s.
If you are unable to join us at our meeting please
feel free to contact Kelvin or Steve on the above telephone numbers or leave a
message in School.
Thank you for your
continued support.
19th July - 23rd July
2006
The school is building a garden at the show this year and as well as the pupils input which
is already taking place we are looking for volunteers to assist in the following:-
.
1. Pre construction of the garden
features at the school so these can be taken to the show and
reassembled on site
The pre construction would be undertaken over a
specific evening in the weeks and Saturdays as required leading up to the show
2. Transporting and Construction of the
garden at the Tatton Park show prior to the opening.
The construction
period is from Saturday 8th July - Tuesday 17th July 2006
3. Manning of the
garden stand throughout the show period.
4. Taking
down and transporting the garden back to St Brigid’s after the show closes on
Monday 24th July 2006.
5.
Reassembling the garden within the school grounds as a permanent feature on a date
to be confirmed soon after the show.
If you are interested in helping with the garden at
any of the stages, we are
holding a meeting along with the next School
Association meeting on Tuesday 4th
April 2006. Alternatively if you are interested but
unable to attend the meeting please leave your name and contact details at the
school office or contact myself.
Many thanks
Steve Emery
