Year 3

This is our classroom at St Brigid's.The school was was once a home for a doctor in Victorian times and the building our class is in used to be the stable block. Our room is upstairs and you can still see the hoists where they used to haul the bales of hay into the loft.
Our ceiling slopes and has large wooden beams supporting it. It is quite a small room and only has room for 20 children and our teacher Mrs Hughes.

This is the view from our window.We can see the main building where the senior school is located and we can see over the school wall on to the road.

Our school is located in a rural area and it is on the outskirts of Denbigh which is a small market town.We have taken some photographs of the area around our school and we have been listing the main features and comparing them to other places. Click here to see our local area photo gallery.

This year, Year 3 have been creating animated movies using a process called stop motion. They have really enjoyed filming You can view the results of their work by selecting the appropriate link below. All the movies need quick time to be viewed. The films can be played directly if you have a broadband connection if not it is best to download them to your computer and then play them offfline as movie files are rather large.
