Pryd welson ni dy ddieithryn a gwneud i chi groesawu, noeth a dilladu ti? Pryd wnaethon ni ddod o hyd i ti'n sâl neu yn y carchar a mynd i dy weld ti? " A bydd y Brenin yn ateb, "Mewn gwirionedd rwy'n dweud wrthych, i'r graddau y gwnaethoch chi hyn un o lest fy mrodyr a chwiorydd, gwnaethoch hynny i mi". COLLECTIVE WORSHIP Collective worship within St. Brigid's is valued by all pupils and members of staff. Talking the time to reflect and celebrate helps children build social skills and strategies needed in future life. These services occur daily for all pupils in a variety of settings. Pupils have whole school, departmental and class assemblies. This time is used to reflect on the moral teachings of The Bible, reflect on current events of significance to the pupils and support leaners with personal, social and emotional situations. Learners also take part in group singing, celebration and awards assemblies. All pupils also attend our school chapel weekly, for prayer and reflection with our chaplaincy team. They have the opportunity to take part in rosary each day. Pupils are expected to reflect and pray each morning, lunch and end of the school day within their lessons. The Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen. Hail, Holy Queen Hail, holy Queen, mother of Mercy. Hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping, in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary. Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. OUR PRAYERS Our Father Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen Hail Mary Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen Glory Be Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen Morning Prayer Father in Heaven, you love me, You’re with me night and day. I want to love you always In all I do and say. I’ll try to please you, Father. Bless me through the day. Amen. Evening Prayer God our Father, I come to say Thank you for your love today. Thank you for my family, And all the friends you give to me. Guard me in the dark of night, And in the morning send your light. Amen. Fatima Prayer O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, And save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy. Amen Guardian Angel Angel of God, my guardian dear, To whom God's love commits me here, Ever this day, be at my side, To light and guard, Rule and guide. Amen Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in this day of battle. Be our defence against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen Sister Elizabeth Kelly Roedd y Chwaer Elizabeth Kelly, CSB a adwaenir yn fwy hoffus fel "Sister Liz" yn gyn-ddisgybl, athrawes a Phennaeth Santes Ffraid. Yn dilyn ei hymddeoliad, daeth yn Gaplan Santes Ffraid. Since her passing she is still remembered by everyone at St. Brigid's. Her spirit and beliefs will always be a part of our school. Yn syml iawn, y Chwaer Liz oedd "St Brigid's" ac mae ei phersonoliaeth a'i hethos yn dal i atseinio heddiw.

As they move up the school, most pupils develop secure retrieval skills. "Mae gofal bugeiliol a'r ystod eang o weithgareddau allgyrsiol wedi datblygu ymdeimlad cryf o gymuned yn yr ysgol".

ST BRIGID'S MIDDLE SCHOOL Ages 10 - 14 The aim of our Middle School is to promote the safety, success, development and happiness of all learners at St. Brigid’s. Our pastoral system is developed in tiers, which ensures that your children receive the best possible nurture and help throughout their school life at St. Brigid’s; from Form Tutors to senior leaders, to outside agencies, your children are supported at every stage. Every day, pupils have form time where they can check in with their Tutor. Time is spent taking part in welfare checks; collective worship; discussions around current affairs; global issues; reading; ‘This day in History’ to name a few. This is a time for learners to prepare everything they need for the day and share experiences or concerns. Our supportive team talk about the children and any additional support that may be needed. The pastoral head is always available and pupils can be referred for pastoral check ins and 1-1 sessions where necessary. We closely monitor attendance, punctuality and learner engagement at all times to ensure your children have the best possible access to the curriculum throughout each academic year. Where necessary we will liaise with excellent outside agencies that we collaborate with ensuring pupils with specific issues have their needs met. This includes us working with youth services, school-based counsellors, police liaison, behaviour support services and other fantastic external providers. Credwn fod gan bobl ifanc y potensial i sicrhau newid cadarnhaol yn y gymuned leol a byd-eang. Mae ein chweched dosbarth yn fodelau rôl ar gyfer gweddill yr ysgol ac agwedd arbennig o werth chweil ar hyn yw eu rhyngweithio â'r disgyblion iau, gan ddatblygu ymhellach ymdeimlad cryf St. Brigid o gymuned. Ms H Parry Hughes Pennaeth Cynorthwyol Mae grwpiau addysgu bach yn golygu bod myfyrwyr yn dysgu gwrando a chyflwyno eu syniadau gyda meddwl a chydlyniant, gan eu paratoi ar gyfer dysgu prifysgol. Mae gan athrawon hyblygrwydd hefyd i bersonoli dysgu, wrth feithrin diddordebau unigol myfyrwyr o fewn awyrgylch o gefnogaeth a her. Rydym yn mwynhau traddodiad academaidd, gyda'n myfyrwyr yn cyrchu prifysgolion o safon uchel yn rheolaidd fel Rhydychen a Chaergrawnt a'r sefydliadau o fewn Grŵp hynod gystadleuol Russell. Ochr yn ochr â hyn, mae gennym hefyd ddiwylliant cryf o greadigrwydd ac ymholi, yn ogystal â hanes o ddatblygu myfyrwyr fel dysgwyr annibynnol ac fel arweinwyr. Mae llawer o'n myfyrwyr yn mynd ymlaen i ddilyn gyrfaoedd yn y celfyddydau creadigol ac yn mynychu cyrsiau uchel eu parch, yn fwy diweddar yn yr Ysgol Ganolog Lleferydd a Drama ac Ysgol Addysg y Celfyddydau, Llundain, er enghraifft. Mae pob myfyriwr yn cael ei werthfawrogi yn Santes Ffraid ac rydym yn falch o'n holl fyfyrwyr yn meithrin awyrgylch lle mae pawb yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi am eu cryfderau a'u doniau unigol. Yn St. Brigid's, mae gennym ein Llu Cadetiaid Cyfun ein hunain ar y safle, sy'n caniatáu i fyfyrwyr yn yr ysgol hŷn gael mynediad at ystod o brofiadau ac ennill cymwysterau gwerth chweil ychwanegol o ddringo a chanŵio i farcio a hedfan. Mae ein myfyrwyr chweched dosbarth yn dangos arweinyddiaeth a menter yn rheolaidd trwy eu profiadau CCF, tra hefyd yn datblygu sgiliau gweithio mewn tîm sylweddol. Mae Cynllun Gwobr Dug Caeredin hefyd yn cael ei redeg gan ein staff ymroddedig ac mae hyn yn galluogi myfyrwyr i ddangos eu hymrwymiad i wirfoddoli a dysgu gydol oes, trwy gaffael sgiliau newydd, ynghyd â phenderfyniad wrth gwblhau eu halldeithiau. Fel rhan o Gonsortiwm Dinbych, rydym yn gweithio'n agos gyda'n cymdogion, Ysgol Uwchradd Dinbych yn benodol, yn ogystal â Choleg Llandrillo a Choleg Llysfasi. Mae hon yn agwedd hynod gadarnhaol ar ein profiad chweched dosbarth gan ei bod yn galluogi myfyrwyr i gael mynediad at gynnig cwricwlwm ehangach yn ogystal â gwneud ffrindiau newydd. Mae ein myfyrwyr yn mwynhau'r cyfle i astudio mewn canolfan arall ac mae hwn yn gam delfrydol tuag at baratoi ar gyfer Addysg Uwch. Rwy'n falch iawn o'ch cyflwyno i'r chweched dosbarth yn Ysgol Santes Ffraid. Edrychwch ar ein prosbectws i gael mwy o wybodaeth a pheidiwch ag oedi cyn cysylltu â mi os ydych chi am drafod unrhyw beth neu i drefnu ymweliad.
